What was your 1st game, watching Everton? Mine was a 1-1 draw against Chelsea, Kevin Campbell scored.

First

Game was Tony Cottee’s debut when he scored 3 in a 4:0 tonking of Newcastle.

Safe to say it’s got progressively worse ever since.

I was only little at the time. Only realise now how lucky I was to have actually seen the likes of Neville Southall, Gary Speed, Duncan Ferguson, Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard play that day

Also got to see a rare Danny Williamson start

Everton 3 Man Utd 1 in September 1986, Heath with that boss diving header. I was only 6 and went to all the homes after that, standing in the lower gladdy with my arl fella, culminating in seeing us lift the title against Luton so I timed it well.

Newcastle vs Everton, early Moyes days, we lost 6-2 and for some reason I stuck with it

I'm a new fan so my first was against Southampton March 2021. My housemate is a big football fan, and I was always curious but decided to take the plunge with Everton who were fresh off of a derby win, chasing Europe, and had a world-class manager. It's been downhill ever since. I feel responsible.

A youthful Lombardo(31) running rings around us. It's not got much better.

Bruce Dyer (who I assumed has always been aged 35) had a blinder too.

Da made us leave at 2-0, so missed our only goal, so had to wait an extra week to see my first Everton goal.

April 1963. Everton 1 Spurs 0. Alex Young scored from a corner. We went to the top of the table with the win and went on to become champions. 67,000 in attendance. You can imagine how excited I was.
