The counter argument to that, is how many games have we won as a result of our more attacking style this season?

Some of the crucial goals that we've conceded have been down to individual errors. Howard's having a very average season & the CB pairing hasn't been settled.

I think the main reason we aren't keeping clean sheets is because we are playing a more attacking expansive style of play this season. When you play like that, you are always liable to concede as more players are pushed forward.
The bigger problem is the amount of possession we have in and around the opponents box without converting that into goals. Without those goals, we really are liable to end up getting 1-1 draws when we should be winning 3-1 or 4-1

This, we are more attacking this year, i'm not too bothered about clean sheets if we win, why is this so worrying?

If we had a keeper who could keep, and centre halves that could concentrate for 90+ minutes then I think we'd have more clean sheets this season.

Yes but they both agreed on the fact so long as we won, we don't care about not keeping a clean sheet. Obviously in the games when keeping a clean sheet was a necessity to yield win it then it matters.

Why not? Nothing else to do. Bored with having a go at Naismith and Gueye. I reckon Hibberts injury has let him off lightly and no one dares have a go at Jelavic.

Anyway back to the topic......You are right about our tactics....give me attacking football any day compared to defensive football. Its more exciting and there is more chance of winning. I would rather 1-1, 2-1 than 0-0 and 1-0.
