Given how unlikely it is that her body will be in good enough condition to revive by the time they find a cure for her cancer in practical terms it is just a very expensive funeral.

However if it gave her some hope and peace at the end I can understand why her mother supported it.

My grandma has told the family that she wants to donate her body to science. The family ain't happy. What can you do?
For me, this is a far more effective way of "living past death" - give your organs to help someone who needs them or if a bit too old the rest of the body to science so trainee doctors can perfect their techniques before they are let loose on living patients.

Hi LL, I was just thinking, and hear me out here, If I arranged for a taxidermist to work on me after I'm gone and deliver me to the US, could I stay at yours? Just put me in a corner or something and hang coats on me.

Best solution would've been for the daft mum to say 'yes dear, cryogenically frozen dear, not a problem dear', and then just forget about it.

There is no evidence as yet that defrosting your body will return it to the state it was in before being frozen, will one's brain still be okay. Mind I sympathise with the girl give it a go what has she to lose.

Plus what id the company goes under? what happens then?

They'd go into liquidation :hayee::blush:

One of the first cryogenic companies did go bust so they just had to bury the bodies, really cant see any of these companies lasting hundreds of years for a cure, its just another market to extract money from vunrable people who are scared of death, like religion and psychics

Well a new world so to speak is more inclined to the younger mind to really take advantage of. 40 + and you are already middle aged.

theoretically speaking, a 21 year old would be better placed than a 51 year old.
