“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

It's not just his record - which is hardly brimming with trophies. It's his bung taking past - any other profession, he'd be banned for life or certainly for a set period of time. He's almost a walking cariacature. Listening to the Huddersfield fans chanting & taking the piss because he's our manager, singing that he's only in it for the money. I noticed this was met with deathly silence because we know that it's true. We are going to have to listen to this for the rest of the season. I think I was after a manager who could not only deliver for us, but would not make us an object of ridicule.
But as I said, I'll still be going long after BFS has gone - been a blue all my life regardless of who comes and goes.
If other teams fans are chanting and taking the piss while they're losing I'm OK with that.As for bungs, its seems he's guilty without ever being charged.

Wow! You are upset by a gang of retard wools going through their catalogue of 1970's moronic chants?
I hope to hear these tired "insults " at every game. And I hope that we continue to ignore them while we rampage up the league under Uncle Sam's tutelage.

So Sam is the only manager who's ever taken a bung ? Get real, there's loads of managers who've done it. I support Everton Football Club not managers and players who come and go, the club itself and if we ended up in the National league I would still be there. I know of a couple of blokes who've give there ST's up because it's morally wrong that Allardyce is in charge. What have they done with their ST's? Put them on Stub Hub, the legalised touting firm ! Unbelievable.

Not going to change my mind about Allardyce - no real record to speak of, favours older, over the hill players (Troy Deeney springs to mind).
However we can agree on one thing - as I said in my post, I too will always support the team - no manager/ player will ever stop that. Once a blue...

Look how wrong we were with Gordon Lee :)

Everyone was pretty "meh" when Gordon was appointed but his teams of '77/78 and '78/79 played some scintillating soccer

I think we.nearly made Xmas unbeaten..could be wrong, but support the team and manager and who knows what can happen.

Apart from the fact that he didn't want to play this guy..

While I sort of agree with your sentiments, I don't understand how 'retard' is an acceptable term when talking about someone? Likewise, for 'biff', 'mong' or 'spaz', don't they fall into the 'moronic chants' category?

Biff is a bit of a tricky one as I think a lot of people use it without knowing the exact meaning.

The others yes, fair enough.

You really are obsessed with this aren't you. Why can't you just accept that some fans will have a different opinion to you, but can still be fans, and for gods sake stop judging us. You have absolutely no right to.

Keep making these posts and snide comments and I'll keep responding to them.
It's all about opinion obviously. You like me have been a supporter for over 50 years,so you'll remember the appointment of Gordon Lee.Take a look at his record before he managed here.Billy bingham before him had come to us off the back of a failed Euro 72 campaign and managing Linfield and Plymouth (who were relegated)Hardly stellar, yet there was not the toys out of the pram responce that the Allardyce appointment has elicited. So where this "Everton are too good for Allardyce" comes from is puzzling and isn't backed up by history.
I was very disappointed with the appointments of both Bingham and Lee. In both cases we were linked with far better managers. Despite Lee’s ‘ nearly ‘ season they were both major errors. We won nothing under them. In the same period our loveable neighbours established themselves as a major force not just domestically but in Europe, something we have never done.
Poor appointments can have repercussions far beyond their tenure.
