Just have to get over it and support the team and the management ! Thats what a supporter does !!!
This largely mirrors my views. I was glad the he received a courteous reception, although I also couldn’t in all honesty bring myself to applaud someone I have never particularly warmed to, going back to his Bolton days. I have always perceived him as a rather petulant and slightly risible figure. I also think his overall managerial record is quite poor.I am one of the many who think BFS is a backwards step for this club; I don't think he has the right moral fibre to be Everton manager, however, whilst I do not support him, I will always be behind the team. I have been for over 50 years and I'll out see BFS and am counting the days until he goes. BFS will not stop me going to matches and cheering on the players. Many people who were there on Saturday obviously felt the same because when BFS took his bow, they remained seated in a dignified silence
It's all about opinion obviously. You like me have been a supporter for over 50 years,so you'll remember the appointment of Gordon Lee.Take a look at his record before he managed here.Billy bingham before him had come to us off the back of a failed Euro 72 campaign and managing Linfield and Plymouth (who were relegated)Hardly stellar, yet there was not the toys out of the pram responce that the Allardyce appointment has elicited. So where this "Everton are too good for Allardyce" comes from is puzzling and isn't backed up by history.I am one of the many who think BFS is a backwards step for this club; I don't think he has the right moral fibre to be Everton manager, however, whilst I do not support him, I will always be behind the team. I think we are just seeing the difference between fans and supporters.Just have to get over it and support the team and the management ! Thats what a supporter does !!!

That's what some supporters do. Other supporters (Me included) believe a verbal demonstration to committee members is required.Just have to get over it and support the team and the management ! Thats what a supporter does !!!

It is hard to escape the feeling that some on here are willing Sam to fail.
So very true Khal, makes you wonder at times whether some actually want the club to improve, recover, thrive and prosper ?
But surely, Andy, this just smacks of ‘survival’ ?
