“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

At the end of the day, if you stop going the match because it has all gone belly up then you're not a proper Blue. You're a fair weather supporter.

If you're comfortable with that then sound, just don't pretend otherwise.

Not going because we are crap is one thing, not going because of appointing Sam The Bung is another. In all my years of following the blues we have been crap most of the time (in reality) but that has not once stopped me from attending. Immediately that Creep signs, I will boycott the club by my non-attendance. This is my right as a human being, I can decide what I go and support.

It does not mean I love Everton any less, just one big reason to not attend is actually greater than any reason to attend. It just means that I have principles, that I can deliberately avoid one of my greatest passions. It'll hurt like hell.

Hahahaha

The club has never needed us more

A lot of people hated Mike Walker but they were still there for that Wimbledon game

Goodison needs to be in full bear pit mode if we're to get out of this

Play in front of dwindling crowds and we're already dead before a ball is kicked

If you feel you can't come because of one man, then fair enough, but I'd ask you to consider whether our club could truly survive taking a plunge into the 2nd tier, because if we don't back the team now that outcome is all but assured

Mike your buying into the narrative that Allardyce 'saves clubs', - I'd suggest a saviour actually saves something - not gives it another year before the roof falls in.

Like Jesus curing the leper only for soon as Jesus leaves the village the leprosy comes back twice as strong.

I'd also say there is a difference between hating a style of play and hating a manager for his outward personality or lack of passion etc, and hating a man for what he is, represents and knowing the damage he causes to anything he touches.

There's a world of difference between potentially being relegated on the last day even if we won the game and today's situation. There are hundreds of coaches who can keep us up, we just don't have the football intelligence to do the due diligance on them.

I can't stand his football and more importantly I can't stand the man. His character and morals is as far removed from EFC's as it is possible to get and that's totally unacceptable to me.

So I won't go, someone in the family can have my ticket and offer the support you ask for instead.

He'll do exceedingly little damage in 6 months

If he's on a longer term contract then fine, but I don't think he will be

He'll get paid a sickening amount to money for 6 months work and will go away

During that time we as supporters of our club need to SUPPORT it and help get the players over the line

Sam Allerdyce is a war time prime minister. This is a survival season, the usual rules have been changed for the short while we're in it

I don't like him, but I'm going to back my team

As for @MickA , i can guarantee 100% he means what he says about that and isn't just blustering on a forum, and before some (not you btw) try to say good riddance etc which they always do to such posts, he's probably been too more games than the majority of people here, supported through the worst of times and is a million times a 'better' blue than the fat clown people clap clap clap

Dont see the point in this thread.

Fans have the choice of supporting or not, doesn't make anyone a better fan.

We are now bread to accept mediocrity at this club, and I don't one bit blame anyone of our fans that feel that cant accept that and choose not to watch.

This hire is absolutely nothing more then accepting we will be targeting 14th every one of the 3 seasons he will have a contract for.

The people running this club have bolloxed it up big time

This appointment will be an eternal monument to how insipid a job they've done

But, at the end of the day we need to be there for our club IMO

The fact we have to make this appointment is a symbol of how much we have fallen

If we want to avoid that final step to destruction, we as supporters have to give the team our very life force to scrape over the survival line

Mate trust me he can do a hell of a lot of damage in 6 months, for starters he will bring a huge amount of hangers on with him - he will also not be able to 'fix' us without a serious influx of players - and it will be more than we need and all will be short term fixes on large contracts and with promises made by Allardyce (he did that at Sunderland btw - then left and those lies to players left some very very unhappy players behind that he brought in)

Will never say for you not to back the team mate, but i cannot and will not back the manager

Sorry Mikey, he wont be going anywhere at the end of the season.

We offered him 6 months when he wanted 3 years, and he told us to do one...

You better believe we have accepted every pathetic demand he had to get him to the club.

We'll have just kept upping the pay off until he agreed to the 6 months

If Moshiri and Kenwright offer him a multiple year contract then they need to be outright removed from power
