...have to say I have just obtained a load of new gear from the club and the quality is top notch.

yet if you bought the same type of gear that is not everton branded - i.e. just regular Nike - then you would pay 1/2 or 2/3 of the cost.

I do believe fans get horribly ripped off, but clubs and manufacturers know fans will still buy it. It wasn't that long ago when kits used to last 2 years, and the new home and away would alternate each season. 3rd kits were as rare as rocking horse sh1t. Some people might remember the uproar when Utd started going to kits lasting only one season and when they introduced a european kit. Calls of fleecing the fans, being greedy etc. But now it's just accepted. 3 new kits every season. Sure. you don't have to buy it/them but it's nice to have them.

On the plus side mate, your daughters a football fan at least (And an Evertonian to boot!)

I hope that my children grow up to be football loving Evertonians. I'd hate it if they supported someone else or didn't even like it to begin with

And it will remain that way until people stop buying gear and stop going the match.

However, we've all got nothing else f*cking better to do, so it will continue.

agree.

Liverpool sold out at Emirates and has a big banner saying 'AGAINST MOD£RN FOOTBALL'

Why the fook go then?

To be fair to them I'm against many aspects of modern football, but me personally not going the match won't make the tiniest bit of difference to anyone but myself, so I might as well just get on with it.

The reason for these late release dates are probably due to the fact that no one likes the new badge. Believe me there would of been a meeting held between Chang, Nike, Kitbag and Everton over this farce. It's effected all party's involved, kitbag will probably be most pissed off with what's gone on. The merchandise would of been stripped right down for damage limitation. I'm perfectly happy to wear last seasons kit/training kit and other types if merchandise and it's gonna cost me next to nothing now. There is no way I will buy anything with that monstrosity onto it

Just ordered the boy a full kit with Defy fella 10 on the back and a training top for myself, NEA, 100 notes gone, LOVE EVERTON ME, EVERTON, EVERTON.

if anyone is seriously considering buying this years kit with that badge on hang your heads.

the fact you're being doubly ripped off with a price increase just adds insult to your injury.

so why bother?

There isnt a price increase, they are the same price as last Year.

And why should I hang my head for buying stuff from my club, give your head a wobble lad.

£87 for a poorer quality shirt. tantamount to a price increase.

if you'll pay it shows youve no sense whatsoever
