Listen I’m no esk but delving deeper into the account our overheads and projections look way off and our margins look a little on the low side and don’t even get me started on our forecast which is a comedy of errors.

You all realise this is based on a three year cycle? Allowing for losses of 94 million over a three year period.

That this 3 year cycle being
2017 = 30.6 profit
2018 = 13.1 loss
2019 = 111.8 loss.

So starting now we are now at 124.9 loss. We will need to make at least a 31 million profit by 2021 to avoid FFP penalties.

Would love to know how Ancelotti is going to strengthen without selling one of the 3-4 players who have value and we want to keep.

30m profit you say?

Thats quite convenient, we just got paid 30m by USM.

Think the limit is £105m, and not everything we spend counts against it, so those figures will be fairly different.

as others have said we can take out stadium development costs etc which i think was about £30mil?

Also, we made £70mil in transfers last summer. If we can make something similar this summer then we'll be fine.

It matters immensely. The money spent was meant to propel us into the Top Six at least, and we have at best stalled and and worst gone backwards, all that money spent, all the transfer hype, manager changes, all for nothing.

It has to stop. This is probably the first transfer window where I'd rather we signed nobody if otherwise its going to be a repeat of throwing good money after bad. It's ridiculous and sooner or later will catch up with us.

I'm really hoping Ancelotti will help in ensuring we get for more value for money but the last few years have been simply awful. We cannot be throwing more money on the equivalents of Schneiderlin, Tosun, Sigurdsson etc etc etc. And with stadium financing to secure as well. Enough is enough.

Swiss Ramble has gone through the turnover results on his Twitter today.

It's not comfortable reading i have to say.

Neither were City or Chelseas in the early stages.

Without FFP Usmanov would have given us a daft injection / sponsorship deal and all would be well.

Sadly we have to do things a bit smaller/ slower over time.

An example is I would imagine naming rights on the stadium will be around £20-25 million per year for say 5 years BUT 2-3 years in that'll increase to say £30 million+ like the Finch Farm deal went from £6 mil to £12 mil to not arouse suspicion.

Again check our accounts in a few years time and they'll look much healthier.
