Plus the return of Garner and Tim he soften the blow in losing Mangala.

If we had a domestic loan spot available. I feel Moyes would be all over this or Ferguson would have come in.

Improving under Moyes. Cannot wait till he scores. It will boost his confidence.

    2024/25 David Moyes

Ridiculous shout. Moyes’ reply was great, to be honest Michael Keane is not a centre forward.

    2024/25 David Moyes

I think you hit the nail on the head here. Moyes has improved since leaving us. He isn’t settling like Dyche. He demands improvement from the team and the boys are responding.

Could we buy him this window and loan him back to Sunderland for rest of the season? Gueye (needs an extension) Mangala & Docoure contracts are expiring and we only have Tim, Garner and Armstrong for next season.

This! Beto needs a run of games not the odd 10 mins at the end to try and nick a goal. DCL has been given plenty of game time but unfortunately he has been average throughout the majority of his career.

Moyes does love a Man United castoff for Everton haha (Howard, Gibson, Neville, Saha). Unfortunately, I dont see Rashford coming to us.

    2024/25 David Moyes

I think he purposely chose this starting to side to see if they would improve and see who needs replacing. I hope we don’t see the same starting side while Moyes here.

    The return of David Moyes

I’m in the same boat, in my 30s and Moyes was the ONLY consistent manager we had. Martinez had that great season in 2012 but faded away badly. People against the idea, what are the alternatives? Moyes understands and gets Everton. Hope we back him in the transfer market and we can build this club.

    Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

Failing to replace Onana was a poor choice imo. The club thought signing players (Lindstrom & Ndiaye) who can play in multiple positions would be suffice if they pushed Docuoure back and have iroegbunam as cover.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Who would we replace Dyche with if sacked? Granted, he has not done well with a soft draw but we need to create stability here.. it’s not an easy situation to be in.

    2023/24 Dele

What a terrible deal we ended up negotiating. Explains why Lampard hesitated playing him. Now, we look even more foolish trying to renegotiate.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

This is Dyche’s biggest club he has to manage in his career. He had to rebuild the foundations from the Lampard and Benitez’ days. He did “just” enough to survive relegation but results are worse this season. Defensively, we are better but his tactics may cost him the job. The next several...

    The Midfield.

Would Garner, Onana and Gana work? Garner can focus on being the playmaker, Onana box to box and Gana in front of the defence. Douc has been good since Dyche's arrival but Garner is the future.

    2023/24 Dele

When is he back? Could be worth the gamble if fit and focused.

    2023/24 Demarai Gray

Need to keep him now as he can cover both wings and provide a threat. Apparently his transfer was all sealed with the Saudi club but they changed the board.

    Rate the transfer window

4, a very poor window imo. We strengthen our forward line well and lost one noticeable player (Iwobi). We generated some funds and I hope we get to spend it. I wish we didn’t waste the whole window on Gnonto. We need to hope for no injuries to our starting 11 and we should just survive.

    2023/24 Alex Iwobi

The fact Iwobi is our most creative player screams at how poor our team is. We got good money for a guy who will walk for free at the end year. The signings of Danjuma and Harrison will offset this loss. Gray needs to make his way back to the bench to provide depth.
