I agree that politics play a role. It is true however that the other players mentioned have been at Everton all along. Perhaps somebody noticed that the addition of Donovan has meant 5 wins in eight matches rather than 5 wins in 20 prior to his arrival. Just a thought. :cheers:

I would not be surprised to see Donovan run behind Saha in this game. We'll see if Moyes has pegged LD for the wide role and will confine him to that, or if he will use him in a place where he can really stretch the defense and express his best qualities. I expect that will depend upon what...

Only saw the second half. Poorly organized on the goal, whether it was Neville or Howard, it was the way they sorted it together that failed. If I'm Donovan I would probably make runs to the inside as well. Hugging the line produced a pass to LD's feet with zero space, a pass back to Neville...

Having played in a couple of derbies (though only at the college level) it matters to the players.
