Anyone hoping for signs of intelligent opinions or social awareness from your average (especially British) footballer is doomed to disappointment. Like others, I'm generally not too bothered (unless outright Tories), but signs of thoughtfulness and the occasional proggressive views are a welcome...
Over the course of the season he will give us an important option. It should have been the reverse last night - start with Lennon because we needed to keep the ball and frustrate them, then bring Lookman on later.
Oh boy, that brings back memoories. So many hopes that season cruelly dashed. Latchford and Dobson were great buys, but Bingham was not a great manager. Mind you his replacement, Gordon Lee, well let's not go there.
As ever, Squires nails it in this cartoon. Unfortunatelyit will have minimal effect on the panic mongers and entitlement junkies on this (and other) sites.
Galloway picked out for praise on MoTD2 and looked like he deserved it. Playing regularly for WBA should really help Brendan to develop and come back to us a better player.
'Overpiced' comments are largely redundant. In football everyhting and everyone is overpriced. With this in mind, Sigurdsson would be a shrewd buy - essentially a much better version of Cleverley.
Agree with an earlier poster that it was possibly the best RB performance this season. Defensively he is better than Coleman - gets closer to his man and closes crosses down. We didn't see too much of him as an attacker, but he did lay on the third goal.
I'd love to see Dowell and Davies start (as well as Pennington or Kenny at RB). However, I agree with those who say that farewell cameos to established players on their way may get in the way. And that could mean a fair few!
