    2025/26 Beto

As I put in another thread, his goals to minutes is third best we've had from a striker in the PL era (and that was before today). Lukaku 1st, Yak 2nd, Beto 3rd. Then Saha, then a big drop down to Jelavic. Then an even bigger drop down to DCL and Johnson. Campbell, Ferguson, Rideout et al miles...

Well, yeah, Beto clearly isnt Lukaku. If he was we'd have been 3 up at half time

    2025/26 Thierno Barry

No, had never seen him play. But everyone should get 6 lashes with a wet noodle for being excited about a new signing.

It was all there to see in the tournament he played in before he came here, I take it you had him as Lukaku the 2nd.

I forgot that Isak one that was such an obvious foul and booking but Kavanagh was looking the other way. Somebody really needs to call him out, take the fine and just insure he never referees an Everton game again.

And we don't have Lukaku Beto was great and going off then had us at ten men

...at Ndiaye from their dead ball in an act of petulance, missed and it dropped to KDH. The ref lets them take it again. Despite all this though, that was on us today. They were there for the taking and we failed to do so. If we had Lukaku or similar quality we'd have been 3 up at the half, but...

    2025/26 David Moyes

...either to be honest. It was recruitment mistakes that got us into relegation trouble in the first place. It's been a big problem for probably 10 years now. We've signed so many bad players for big money. Our recruitment in attacking positions has been absolutely hopeless ever since we sold...

Yes it is down to him, he keeps telling us he has the last say when it comes to transfers, so it is down to him. the other thing that keeps me thining is we are continually being linked with older players, Stones, Lukaku, the lad from West Ham, cant remember his name as well as a few more.

Mourinho is finished mate. He needs a chequebook to do anything remotely good. He doesn't play youth (thanks to him we got Lukaku) and he's a very unpleasant guy who'll blame anyone else but himself when it goes tits up

    Summer transfer window.

Still haven’t replaced Lukaku Please make it be this summer

    Summer transfer window.

Nope …. Best goals to mins ratio in prem history would be traore … 2 mins , 1 goal, 1 shattered ankle Never to be seen again
  18. Paul Rideout

    Summer transfer window.

But yet still has the third best goals per minute of any prem era Everton striker (behind Lukaku and Yakubu). And he does do those things … sporadically… which is the issue

    Summer transfer window.

...and we've already invested in him. And Beto does the business more than he is given credit for. Has the third best goals to minutes ratio of ANY strikers we have had in the Prem era (more than 10 goals scored), other than Lukaku and Yak. Any incoming striker needs to raise the bar, not...

    Summer transfer window.

Delap really looks like the ideal Moyes type centre forward. Plays hard, runs and has experience. I think he's gone to Chelsea for the obvious reasons: Knows the manager, big salary and european football with possible trophies. Not sure its been mentioned too often recently but beyond Kane...
