Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The great unknown is the loan market - they will likely have to compromise on quality there for the sake of some depth.

Any opinion that it would be Dibling + loans only thereafter seems credible to me.

A lot of loan opportunities only present very, very late though so it's not necessarily a case of lining them up now - you just have to be ready to strike.

Loans are a stop-gap solution and not ideal but I'd still rather we continued to avail of them and not be put off by recent experience. The loan market is a critical component for us given our budget and amount of positions that need filling.

For sure there will be a significant sale next summer. We cannot be sustainable without it given the constraints.
Yeah no doubt that Moyes will want to dive deep into the loan market if he can, as he has tended to do most of his managerial career.

I made my second ever meme.

Really i thought it was reported at the time - have you looked?, but maybe it wasn't, he does but its not active until next summer, i suspect to give him a pay rise so he wouldn't agitate for a move and we would have a baseline valuation met eventually.

Yeah i've looked and i remember Bobble saying no clause was in the new deal

I popped it into google mate and then an AI and articles came up immediately mate - not sure what you are doing wrong, the mail and mirror reported it, so it was reported - it was a journo who told me, so who knows, given its been published and i have no reason to doubt who told me - i believe he does. They were quite specific on the fee to - just north of £70 mill and not active until next summer.

Up to you what you want to believe! ;)

Maybe ask the Bobble.....

My fear is putting all our eggs in the Dibling basket it seems what if the deal doesn't happen? Also its a 19 year old kid we are relying on solving our issues on that side.

Incredible time to be a footballer like, you’d have to be top ten in the world in almost any other sport to earn the same as someone sitting on the bench for Bournemouth.
Was thinking this morning - imagine what this 3rd choice keeper will be on wages wise. Probably take me 10 years to earn his annual salary.
