Really was, we were on our arse’s, was exceptional that year too.

One of those (rare) signings where you just knew at the time that the club had surpassed itself.

I remember being so pleased and excited I turned on the Euro U-21 match between Germany and England to warm myself in future thoughts of Pickford.
