No mate, that's just you trying to be clever and failing. I was stating his age to point out how out of character it was for him to score 15 goals in a season. I literally said we could do worse than sign him in the very same post, but maybe you didn't make it that far.

I would agree but think we have a lot of other areas to prioritise first. Myko will be fine for another year.

Maybe £25 million. If he’d wanted to leave his hometown club to go to a Crystal Palace or Fulham or something which seems unlikely.

He’s a solid Prem player. I’d hope we aim higher but I won’t be crying if we signed him.

So you are basing not rating Longstaff (perfectly fine, entitled to your opinion) on him being a 'top 8 cast off' then aren't you, you are basing him off not rating him.

so your comment of not wanting 'top 8 cast off's' is completely redundant

Both Andre Gomes & Lucas Digne were Barcelona cast offs, each performed differently

If you think Longstaff deserves to belong with that group then you maybe need to follow netball instead. Brownhill and Longstaff wow. The top 10
Next year will be crapping themselves. Imagine spending 20/25mil on Longstaff

Yeah he's a weird one Mykolenko, defensively solid as we saw again on the weekend.

But lacks a lot going forward, we could with signing a young up and coming attacking LB to push him

He'd probably make a decent 3rd CB Mykolenko, but we don't play 5

We need much better in both full back positions, but a number 10, right wing, striker and a centre mid. Should be the priority first

To be honest I wouldn't rule out either, many said the same when Morgan Gibbs White (albeit I didn't fancy that feeling to be honest) and Elliot Anderson linked... They have turned out rather well for Forest.

Myko is solid as a defensive full back and rotation but we absolutely need better right and left backs. We need someone with better delivery on the left especially

Fear we end up with Soucek having just listened to bobble update guess it would be ok if in tandem with some younger midfielders, to me though we need to move away from paying aging players big money. Also worrying Gana may not sign up

Gana's agent sounds like Gana is definitely going to the Middle East. Two very good offers for him and as he is nearing the end of his career it would make sense.
