Season long loan with an option to buy. Lucky if we got 25% what we paid for him.
And because it's an Everton thing he will morph into a CR7 MK2 within six months.
He doesn't track back, a wide player guilty of this will never play in a Moyes team. They wouldn't in most manager's tbh, unless their goal involvement is brilliant.
It was a weird buy given where we were as a club last summer. How Moyes is...
100% correct, Moyes has stated that he wants rewards now as well as the future
Although I don't particularly agree with it, Moyes will bring in 3 or 4 experienced players around the 27/28 mark and a couple of 23/24, you will be lucky to see few...
I've never got the Foden thing... Him, Isak, others like them... Just benefit from systems and the quality around them. Once it's on them to help lead, they disappear. Foden, like Barkley, has always struggled with poor decision making, too...
You have to be absolutely exceptional technically when you are a smaller player though. Bernardo Silva, Foden etc are fine but if you have average ability then you’ll be bullied in the Prem.
Harsh but probably fair/ sensible.
I've always felt there's more of a player than we see. The palace thing was a joke and not his fault. He handled his wife's outburst well.
Just doesn't wrestle enough ball to make his positive attributes...
Different times lol....Patterson has done nothing wrong. The chelsea lad on loan brilliant talent ...why couldnt they have played right hand side yesterday???
Newcastle and spurs home results advertised the same hole in defence you're flagging here. The volume of unaddressed mistakes adding up now:
- No FBs
- Poor recruitment to date ( except KDH )
- Not developing new players
- limited attacking...
Awful defending for both goals. Another goal conceded at close range from a corner and another injury time goal to see us lose. We have to improve that and fast.
Yes VAR and the standard of refereeing is beyond a joke, but this is the easiest...
