Yeh I think the only issue is refs often ref part-time don't they? So wouldn't likely want to have to relocate to a new country, or fly around every weekend, but I do think European refs are miles better than ours. VAR is much quicker too.

Yeh but officials in leagues without it are used to not having it - ours have coasted by for years with it now. You'd have to swap the officials round. They are SO bad.

Nah the level of mistakes every week would be unreal. The standard of officiating, now that they all get outside/digital help, is extremely bad. They've been slacking off ever since it came in. It's like using AI in your job for a few years and...
