Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Wonderful! I use my crock pot quite often. My favorite meals to make in it are chicken & olives and BBQ baby back ribs.
I might ask for some recipes there VTG need to use it more. I'll get 3 or 4 meals out of this, so i can freeze some as well. Cheaper doing a batch than always cooking for one.

Used up some tins as well bonus. Just added more tomatoes chopped as it's too thick lol

Still not sorted my mental health appointment out, left another voice message

Just had a quick taste of the crock pot, it's lovely, nice and thick now after adding rice and peas, the chicken is starting to shred, good decision for a change.
Chilli was always my go-to slow cooker meal. You've inspired me, here; I'll have to dig it out of the cupboard this weekend and make a batch of something for work next week.

I've only made chilli in one once and I put too much liquid in, ended up having to separate it into pans to thicken up. Wish I had thought of putting rice in it now.

Good morning everybody. It was bright and sunny earlier but really clouded over in the last hour. Looks like it might rain. Hope you get your washer sorted @Gwladysover . We had a similar issue a few weeks ago. Retrieved 45p and some indeterminate fluff from the drain hose and so far it has been OK.
We are going out tonight with the people we are going on holiday with. Should be fun. The experienced cruise couple will be doing an all you need to know about cruises sessions to the other four of us who have never been before. I'm seriously thinking about taking a pad and making notes! I've also booked a gym session at 3pm to burn off a few calories before tonight's meal. Speaking of calories I haven't lost an ounce for 3 weeks. However I think I'm toning up a bit because some of my 'snug' clothes are fitting better.
I see Sky are undermining Everton again. Exclusive interview with Benitez. Same as with Allardyce. Ive never seen them do that with any other club. Then reporting on their website a study that shows we've overspent by £85m in the last 10 years based on what we paid for players against their value and could be in trouble. Closer inspection reveals that 17 out of the 19 clubs studied had also overspent and we were 5th highest on the list. They really do have an agenda against us.
Have a good day folks x
My wife says muscle is heavier than fat so you have done well .Fitting in to old clothes tells everything about the diet .

Just had a bowl, it's been on since 7ish was really nice. I suppose it was just a jambalaya with peas n ? instead of chorizo.
Well done ,we always have soups in the week to help watch my weight and the wife has a 20 litre pot she does them in .Not twenty litres but too much for our other pans .Then we cool them and freeze most .

Thanks for the advice everyone. In the end I just told a little white lie and said I'd been feeling a bit rough all day and was probably best not to go out. Thought best to do it that way rather than mentioning the covid as it can be a bit of a polarising topic. I do feel bad about not going though.
You did the right thing. Spare yourself the risk and the worry.
