I agree with you. It is a huge label covering many things. She doesn't speak at all at the.moment, making no attempt to speak and she seems to live in her own little bubble - doesn't interact with anybody. She's the same at nursery. Won't join in with anything and just wanders around all the time on her own.

May be pushing against an open door, but have they tested her ears? Could be she’s hard of hearing.

Well I didn't know you had to do that with cucumbers so who is the ignorant one ?? I don't I just gently brush around the centre of the flower .Now I have to identify the male flowers and pick them off !!! I was also reading about strawberry chutney this morning as we have a glut this year so that could be next on my list ,they say it is nice on tacos .

Males are the ones that don’t have a small fruit under them, unlike humans.?

Thats the first thing they did with my youngest, who we noticed was "different" to his brother. He got a SEN once the autism was confirmed, but they wait till a child is 3 or 4 to actually fully diagnose/statement.

He is 26 now, and leads a full, and to a degree, independent life.

That's something that I thought of too but she has had a hearing test and passed it. She doesn't react to anybody, even her Mum and Dad.

That's so good. I was aware that you don't get a diagnosis until the child is about 3 or 4. I'm sure things will be put in place for her that will help her should it be confirmed.

@Sassy Colombian Have you tried pollinating them with a kid's paint brush ,I have had to do it this year with my tomatoes because they are under a perspex roof and we don't see any insects doing the job .

I was going to ask how you pollinate a plant with a kids paint brush, but I'm not sure I want to know the answer.?
