Check out "Martin Atkinson is a terrible referee" facebook page. Already got the Rodwell challenge on the main page. Set up by the Mancs over the prior Chelsea debaucle last year. Looks good in a Chelski shirt too.

The fellow must have a gambling problem it will be found out eventually.

I hope he falls down the stairs.

Its wrong to wish pain or death on people, but sometimes I just want people to hurt and hurt real bad.

Im hurting, so why shouldnt he.

well there is a list that he's now on, that of the reviled

There are kids reffing in the sunday leagues better than that useless cnut today.

Did Gonzo Buckteeth not arrive on these shores with a reputation ? Cos he goes down every tackle and that useless sack of shoite gave him the decision every single feckin' time.

Cheats will continue to cheat, unless action is taken, people can get action taken AFTER the game for things the ref misses, cheats should get treated the same.

That would pretty much eradicate the play acting in an instant. The ones doing it usually have egos to match and wouldn't like being reprimanded and outed as a cheat across all the media. They don't have the balls to do it.

Atkinson should be made to personally honour the three game ban he handed out and in turn ruining a much anticipated game. Everyone knew this referee is a liability and card happy yet they place him in charge of a Merseyside derby. No accountability either, that's what it makes it so disappointing.

After the Rodwell incident, every time Liverpool took up position to attack a corner of a floated free kick,I half expected Atkinson to rise, Swan-like from the crowd of players and meet the ball square on with a bullet header !!
