Hi all. Happy St Patrick's Day to our Irish contingent. Used to love being out in Liverpool on this night. The Irish Centre was the place we went to. My dad sent me a St Patrick's Day card , bless him. As I've said before he's the only one of his siblings who was born in Liverpool after his family moved from County Cork.
Have I imagined this or could you also get Opal Mints as well as Opal Fruits? I'm sure you could. And Polo Fruits. They were pretty grim.
Well done on the bird cack cleaning Fred. I like wood pigeons too - proper little fatties. We've got a few who visit our garden every day. I'm not sure who was the culprit but some feathered friend did the biggest dropping I've ever seen on my car last week. That required some cleaning off.
Big big Happy birthday to @Methuselah. Hope you've had an awesome day.
I totally agree that today's footballers are completely out of touch with reality. I used see Howard Kendall in and around Allerton Road when he was the manager, would occasionally come across John Gidman slumped over the bar in Penny Lane wine bar. It just wouldn't happen now.
I really hope we win tonight. Surely the law of averages dictates we have to win one soon. Although we usually contrive to lose to Newcastle so I'm not convinced it will be tonight.
Catch upo with you all during the match. If you have it, it's on Amazon Prime.
