None of them, because it’s a virus that mutates like every single other virus in the world ever? Why is it newsworthy that a virus has mutated is more my point? Why doesn’t every new variant of the flu get named by “them”(the media)?

Nolan is one person and probably has minimal influence over the behaviour of others. Djokovic is highly influential and lives in a country where not only are vaccination rates very low but the death rate from Covid is very high, so yes, if Djokovic was a strong supporter of vaccination I dare say he'd be far more influential than Mr Nolan is.
