Admittedly I have no idea of what rates asymptomatic exists so it may be low with the variant or higher than others, really don't know.

But if you think about it, looking for people who don't have symptoms is looking for something that otherwise wouldn't be there. I have always been curious if someone can test positive and not be 'sick' , which can be applied to any virus.

At some point all of this paranoia and fear and all the rest of it has to end. Whether it's because of herd immunity , less severe variants or a mixture of the two. So spending time looking for the virus is just keeping all of that alive , when in the real world (off the internet), people wouldn't concern themselves anymore with covid unless they had symptoms.

We are now at the point where most symptoms of any virus is covid so once you hit the herd immunity / boosted / medicine point , do you need to look for covid?

Eventually, having covid will be the same as having the flu. Same precautions (yearly vaccine) , same isolation (through illness) and same don't want to get it approach.

If everyone was vaccinated we'd probably be at the point where we wouldn't have to worry too much about asymptomatic transmission but a large percentage of the anti vaxxers still end up in hospital.

What part of what I said wasn't true?
Pfizer have indeed made a vaccine.
The vaccine does not stop infection.
Pfizer have now released a pill for people to take once infected.
Pfizer will make loads of money from both the vaccine and pill.
Can you please enlighten me as to how you think I'm a conspiracy theorist?

That will never change though. It's like a broken record at this point but you can't manage a country on people purposely sabeutaging it. I know I didn't spell that word right ?

Eapecially with over 50 million of your population.

This may all be an issue now but come march, how many super immune people will there be out of the 50 million plus? If everyone is catching it, which does seem to be the case.

You are not allowed to suggest pharmaceutical companies might be profiting off a pandemic. They are the good, moral multi billionaires and you are the evil anti vax dangerous disinformation conspiracy theorist.

Deaths still need to go down for it to be less of an issue. If it eventually gets down to killing around 10,000 a year in the UK it would be much less of an issue but it's still probably somewhere around 50,000.

Hopefully it will drop in 2022.

You just jumped all over @Tipp blue though essentially saying he’s the same as Holliday who’s genuinely going around aggressively spreading anti-vax talking points, all because he suggested Pfizer might be making money off the back of this pandemic? I think that was harsh tbh.

Well, they are all certainly statements. I think the problem is nobody knows what point you're trying to make. Do you think there are people who deny or are unaware that Pfizer have made a huge amount of money?

If you were called a conspiracy theorist, I think it's because you have routinely shown yourself to be resistant to facts and science on any given topic. You're against lockdowns, restrictions and any sort of social distancing measures. You're against vaccines, and any one of your regular rants against actually doing something as a society to combat this pandemic are usually bundled up with tirades against government overreach, big pharma, nazis etc. etc. According to you, for the last 2 years, we should have done nothing and gone about our lives as normal.

If you think Walken was calling you a conspiracy theorist because you said that pharmaceutical companies make money, then you have interpreted his post with the same simplicity and ignorance you apply to everything else
