Arsenal fans were laughing at us for signing Iwobi, Man Utd fans were laughing at us for signing Schnederlin. Leicester fans have seen him for five years, we’ve seen him for two friendlies. It doesn’t mean he can’t be a success but you’d be a fool to ignore and place unrealistic expectations on the lad that he’ll suddenly light up the prem.

Im looking forward to the inevitable Leicester slump season. They have had a good 2 seasons at some stage they'll falter hope its this season and their signings dont adjust to the league / Vardy is past it.

Don’t really care whether they’re amused or irritated. Just making the point Leicester fans have watched him a lot more closely than we have over the last five years. Its foolish to dismiss their view of his abilities as a player out of hand.

Some of my pals that don’t follow Everton say things like, Siggurdson or Gomes is a good player, for example. They see the odd game or highlight. We watch them every week and are in a much better position to make informed comment on their abilities…or lack of.

Yeah but Chelsea fans laughed when we bought Lukaku, just because it didnt work there for him dosent mean it wont here, maybe they had a squad too good for him to brake into, we havent.

No. We signed a player who had flopped at Leicester...moved to Leverkusen for €2mil and flopped there too.
