I said years ago that it's to do with the locals desperately clinging to their image that's portrayed in the media.
Their support is so diluted because they are a franchise that this local thing became insignificant. To compensate they 'overscouse' everything from the accent, the political 'socialist' element ( beyond ironic given the business), and claiming every dead slebridee as a flag waving song writing kopite.
I know 'redz' that post and write in skowz la and it's cringey.
They've allowed being 'scouse' to become Carla Lane's definition, a caricature like Harry Enfield's, and love the city that much that at every opportunity they will sully the name and reputation with bad behaviour. Too many to list but (and I can't yet fathom why more wasn't made of this) but sitting on a column fiddling with yourself in front of kids as a 'supporter', jeez, there you go.
They're wools, and it's why we always have to behave better, be bigger, because them sods are dragging this city down.

Yes, it’s what I dislike most about them. I couldn’t care less what they win, it’s the shame that follows them almost everywhere that annoys me.
I remember talking to an Arsenal fan, a Lady as it happens, she asked ‘how can Everton and Liverpool fans be so different yet from the same place, it doesn’t make sense’

It’s a huge game. A Spurs win puts Liverpool firmly into a top 4 battle with Spurs Leicester us and even keeps Chelsea not that far off. It would arguably open up 2 spaces which would be great for us. City would be 10 clear if they won their next two.

In 18/19 Liverpool were 7 points clear going into week 21 of the season against City who then won that game and ended up winning the league by a point after winning 15 games in a row. It’s only week 19 now so it’s not over but the bigger that gap gets the better. A Spurs win would have them in panic stations though because then they’d be looking at having to beat West Ham away and City at home just to keep up with the top 4.

For sure mate would be panic stations for them, but history shows ya can never rely on Spurs!

Its Klopp and this side that’s different. I’ve said before, Paisley, Fagan even Dalglish at the time we’re not hated for being gobshites, they were hated as they were our competitors. Respect was there between the teams.
I hated Ian Rush as he was boss. I hate this lot as they are diving cheats, I’d piss my kecks if drugs ever came out though.

This current breed of ‘fans’ are off the scale. No class whatsoever. The proper Reds I know don’t like them either.

I know the feeling.

I just think you look at those fixtures, the way they're playing and there is a real possibility it can get much worse for them very quickly.
