ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Their intensity has dipped. Like you say, they'd force you into a mistake and out run you, launch countless crosses into the box until you made a mistake.

It's not there anymore. Saying that...Origi missed a sitter.

Yes he did and really it was their only decent chance, and it was caused from a mistake.

Origi is a poor striker, you wouldn't back him to score that chance anyway. Thats half of their problem. They are lucky Jota had an unusual purple patch at the start of the season, otherwise they'd be in 8/9th already.

I think there's probably 2 or 3 things going on here.
1) As you say, they are not playing as well. Probably lagging effects of fatigue and the age profile of the squad (old and tired now) have caught up with them
2) They don't believe their invincibility anymore. Teams have worked them out
3) Teams are far more confident with them now, and have sussed out a way to defeat them. Defend narrow and deep, let Arnold have the ball, get tight to Salah with no space in behind and when you get it turn their extremely slow defence.

Their best player this season Wijnaldum is leaving too. I have no idea why they've let him go. I only watched the 2nd half today. but he was the one with the most drive for them.

Gifted a gilt edged opportunity...on his own...middle of the goal...just the keeper...sweetly struck shot...hits the bleeding bar FFS........hahahahahahahahha
