Started poorly in the first half but did better in the second. Nowhere near his top game for us today though

He was a bit wayward today. I appreciate the desire to get into things but he's playing as the main anchor in midfield and with two players incapable of covering. I think a little discretion was needed. Overall he's still really good and most midfields he is going to be bossing.

Just think he's a warrior out there. He struggled at times today but covered ground and didn't give up.

Caught the wrong side a few times today. Once he gets fully up to speed he won’t have any issues.

He's mastered that Fernandinho thing of being able to commit loads of niggly fouls without getting booked until late on.

Did struggle a bit.. but coming back from a genuine niggle, he was still very influential. Not at his best is still very good.
