So In what way does this remind you of Payet to West Ham deal?
Players who should be at the very peak of their career who are moving to mid-table sides with the aim of reviving things. James was down to injuries while Payet was just a tit, but I think it is a similar type of move for the player and for the clubs, who were both taking risks in an attempt to find someone who can come in and on their own inspire a side to score 15 or so more goals than before.

Payets name has never rang out as much as Hamez.

Its a silly statement Oil baron.

I quite literally said it reminds me of Payet but James is way better. But the idea, let's go out and get the best possible 10 we can regardless of any other factor and let him do his thing, is similar.

Nobody knew who Payet was when he signed for West Ham.

Payet has been good for like 6months at West Ham, hes a nothing player.

Last one for me was Kanchelskis.

He was by far the most exciting signing I can remember. Stood on the pitch with his umbrella.

Next would be Lescott. Might seem a strange selection, but I had a feeling he would be superb, and I felt he was a catalyst for us to put together a team to challenge (that side was not far off either)

Then Lukaku. Certainly a brilliant moment when he signed fully, but was tempered a bit by the fact there was nothing else that summer to add more top quality additions. Thus we stagnated a bit.
