Carlo might see it it’s 2 out of any three of Gbamin Allen Gomes, if Allan is able to play both the DM role and the box to box role. Or perhaps he ha shelved plans for a wide player and wants to play a diamond with Gbamin holding then Allan and Gomes ahead of him with Gordon/Iwobi at the tip.

Allan doesn’t look like a DM from what I’ve seen. He looks like an aggressive attacking player with lots of tricks.

Eduoard is the sort of gamble we should be taking.

£20-25 million that could at worst be another Tosun but at best could be a 15-20 goal a season forward when clubs like WHU/Newcastle are spending £40 million+ trying to find one.

From what I've seen he's a midfielder that is competent at pretty much everything. Considering we've currently for a midfield that can do nothing he's exactly what we need.

He's quality and out of favour with gattuso for no real reason, if we had tried to have signed him last summer it would have been easily double the price.

we would sink as a club if we continue to carry expensive flops.

As much as the jury is still out on Brands, I don’t think any of his incomings have lumbered us with somebody we can’t move on for a fee that will make sense relative to their “book value” (if that’s the right term)
