The problem is Moyes has poisoned the fanbase into accepting mediocrity up top providing said striker "works hard".

Compare that to say the Goalkeeping position and look how demanding / high standards we have of that position because of having had the likes of Southall, Martyn, Howard in his prime.

If you look at the top scorers this season, every single 1 of them is a hard-working Striker.

Even your boy Danny Ings is a worker.

If DCL hadn't scored 15 goals this season you might have a point.

A load of defensive/keeper errors during a 3 month purple patch.

He's not scored in the last 9 games and scored about 5 goals in the 2 and a bit years before his purple patch.

Fans are gonna be in for disappointment if they genuinely think he's going to do much for us next season.

Europe a write off if he’s leading the line for us next season. Bring him on for the last 15 to chase around while we hold onto a lead

Richarlison scored 14 goals last season and his 15 this season has been from start to finish.

DCL couldn't score in a brothel outside of 3 months in 3 years.

Im not disputing he hasn't scored 15 goals - but you'll never see that feat again whereas you will with Richarlison.

Nah lad some on here think we'll finish top 6 holding for dear life onto 1-0 leads every week whilst our competitor's are blowing teams away by 3-4 goals...

Our power is limited to getting managers sacked by causing a scene during televised games.

Almost certain everybody agrees with that statement.

But.

We have a fairly dodgy Keeper
Our CBs and CMs are injured lots
We lack any real quality across the midfield 4
And other than DCL and Rico up top, we have very little other options

So, lots of improving to do across the whole 11.

Mans acting like he's the only 1 who can see the squad isn't good enough.
