but there will be players and clubs who are waiting/wanting contracts to expire, so some will be retained and some not, its a mess and whatever solution is decided upon will be a mess. The cleanest solution is to call it off, possibly cancel the euros and try to start with a clean slate in august. If the RS get awarded the league, so be it. They could even have a special trophy made up, as they only completed 70% of the games, they get a trophy 70% of the original. If they scrap the Euro's and Olympics then they might be able to squeeze it in
What would need to happen though is that the PFA and LMA would have to get it's members to agree for contracts to be frozen momentarily so that clubs who have players at the end of their deals don't get shafted by those players leaving

@davek has sorted a thread for if the football gets cancelled.
The Qatar World Cup was going ahead in Winter 2022 anyway, you do realise this? Before Coronavirus, the sporting calendar was going to alter. It had to.
So either, they play the World Cup mid-season (which doesn't really suit anyone) or they alter the start and end dates of a couple of seasons before and a couple of seasons after.
You say 'Void' a season like it's an easy and obvious thing to do, it's laughable. Billions of pounds have been spent on sponsorship money, tickets, TV rights etc for a 38 game season. To move the season by 8-12 weeks for the sake of public safety, to allow that to continue as normal is much much easier than the alternative you're suggesting. It's a non-starter.
The ostrich continues to impress me
Joking apart, he is a very good manager, and he makes a lot of good points quite often. His persona may be quite spikey, but I wonder if that is overplayed in the media and he also acts up to it.
Can't happen, all the fixtures must be completed for that.
They could get a blag trophy or something as a compromise.
Probably why I like him! If he was here at Everton, I'd probably be pulling my hair out with his antics. He is an unhinged weirdo.
I rate him, he's just a bit odd is all so doesn't alwayscome across greatJoking apart, he is a very good manager, and he makes a lot of good points quite often. His persona may be quite spikey, but I wonder if that is overplayed in the media and he also acts up to it.
