Everton is a boss player but I'm not sure how he fits in our 4-4-2.

Bernard on the left ghosting into the centre, with Digne flying down the wing, is easily our most creative outlet.

Bernard wouldn't be one of the two in the middle either.

Seems like we need to be spending big on a centre mid and a right winger first and foremost.

I've always been convinced he should be a no 10 - has the eye for a pass but doesn't have the goal threat to be effective as a winger who cuts inside imo.

He hasn't got the physicality to play through the middle I don't think. It's why he's spent nearly all his career so far out wide.

Been banging on about this for a while. Our fitness levels are rubbish. We get to 75 minutes and a lot of our players are knackered. Last few pre seasons have been rubbish. Think Ancelotti employs 2 fitness coaches so hopefully preseason will be different this time. Klopp wanted the high press and got rid of players who couldn't get to the required fitness levels. We need to be aiming for this

I cant really fault any of Brands signings on strong mentality except Delph and he came with the rep of being a leader
