Right lads/ladies (Waves at Andy) lets keep the board stuff to the 100 other threads knocking about at the moment and keep this for transfers/LCAB and THT!

Lets not hijack it.

How anyone can defend this board is beyond me. Wake up and smell the coffee blues befor its too late.

As a fan I'm only really concerned with the manager, the team (squad), the results and the quality of the footy we play. ALL of those things are better than they were EVER under agent J regime.

The board role is to provide funds to the manager to make the team or squad better first and foremost in my eyes. Secondary is to keep the infrastructure and support services up to scratch and keep revenue streams flowing. The board is clearly failing to fulfill their role so the comparison is fair with agent J board.

Maybe this doesn't belong in a transfer thread, but in the abcense of any transfers (in anyway) I think it's OK to talk about the reasons why that is the case.

No its £7.85 million. We previously had £4.85 million more income than expenditure on transfers in the past 6 windows so when you include this window (so far) you get the extra £3 million pound income from Pienaar, therefore a total of £7.85 million income more than expenditure (£43.25 Million Income v £35.40 million expenditure).

I'm guilty of only lurking on here and never posting (combination of living down under and not having the time) but I'm inspired to post by the above just to say that it is absolutely bang on

Thanks also to the two oracles for posting what they know, really appreciate the info

If the board had spent the time, energy and cash expended on the Kirkby debacle on finding some funds for our manager we could be watching Hazard lay chances on a plate for Dzeko by now instead of the unedifying spectacle we're let in for EVERY FECKING TRANSFER WINDOW

Like LCAB says, get pissed off and show it by all means, but get pissed off at the right people

LCAB loved your monologue . Proper RANT like encapsulated the frustrations we all feel with this board , but backed by knowledge not speculation or gossip . Thanks by the way to you an THT for keeping the rest of us informed.

That's the worrying part. That's what needs answering.

I accept the fact we're skint, but I don't know exactly why. There's no reason Stoke should be outspending us, absolutely none.
