I don’t understand why he did it to be honest, Richarlison was utterly ruined at the end and should have been the one taken off. If he did it to waste time, waste it with Richarlisons substitution, not Keans. if he did it because he wasn’t happy with Kean, then given there was a only a few minutes left, leave him on and then drop him from the bench as punishment?

Because Duncan is an impulsive person. Makes decisions with his heart instead of his head.

4 points from Chelsea at home and Man U away. if he sees the lack of effort as a contributing factor towards the goal, why shouldn’t he hook him?

If we’d gotten beat I’d understand. But how often does a new manager come in with these 2 fixtures as his first two and not lose one? Hypothetical I know, but I doubt many would have.
Also with the injury list we had to contend with today. Overall I think today’s draw was a better achievement then beating Chelsea, when you consider what Ferguson has to deal with just prior to the game and during it.

He reminded me of when you play 5 a side but haven’t done so for a couple of months and you are absolutely in bits after 5 minutes. There was a moment when the camera was on him whilst he waited for Baines to put a corner in. He looked spent but had only been on 10 minutes. Poor that no matter how it’s dressed up.

I agree. He’s done great but I just think he could have handled this better.

Seems a very odd thing to do to a young lad.

There is obviously more to this than meets the eye. Maybe the rumours of a bad attitude behind the scenes are accurate.

Whoever sanctioned this signing didn’t do their homework properly.

I thought it was a bit unnecessary, but I'm not the one out there making the big decisions. I doubt we'll see Kean in an Everton shirt again this season, unless a new manager is appointed before January.
