Clive James did a TV series in the eighties called "Postcards From,,,,," in which he presented a docu-style travel show about various places. The one on Paris was sublime, funny and very moving, as he had stayed in Paris as a student and obviously adored the place. He was the Stephen Fry of his day, tremendously intelligent and witty man, part of the big fringe scene of the early sixties that went on to be big in the theatre and comedy world.A knowledgable chap that was easy to listen to,
