How could you marry someone who doesn't have Everton's interests at heart..Thank god my mrs is a blue and adores footy..Our kids are off to the grandparents tomoz out the road..i'll be watching the match in peace , well peace from the kids , but it's likely to get heated with some fruity words from yours truly...
 

just set all the clocks in the house back a few hours and tell her its a ten o'clock kick off, you could sky plus it but I doubt you'll be able to avoid the score.

In all seriousness, If that was my kid, I'd sky plus it and go to the party. I'd be gutted, but I wouldn't bang on about it, I'd hate to have a row and ruin my little girls day.

It sucks big time though.

I've booked the wife and kids to go out tomorrow during the game so I'm all set.
 
**** the bed and say your not well, if you cant squeeze one out just save one in a bag tonight, and smear it over the sheets as soon as she gets up, should be enough to get you excused, you could even play the wounded soilder like and go the party then say sorry love i tried i really did, i dont want to miss this for the world but my stomaches rumbling and i think i might follow through if i dont go home right now
