Thought he did alright yesterday, certainly wasn’t the worst performance.

He was no better or worse than anyone yesterday, an insipid display by the whole team. We should win and lose as a team.

He is an easy target though (not that I rate him particularly.)

It seems people would prefer to boo Davies instead of Schneiderlin.

He did alright, he’s defo not the reason we lost, hit a few decent passes, one in particular.

He’s a good player, bad attitude though for me, which undermines the former.

People are overdoing a bit on last night, thought we fairly dominated Villa last night and weer just suckered, need to keep it in perspective.

You are probably right but I think people are thoroughly bored of doing the same thing every season. Last night's defeat (and manner of it) came as a shock to nobody.

We always seem to get these decent starts to the season on paper and we never seem to do anything to give ourselves a strong start to the season. If we are to push on as a club we have to view the first three games as five points dropped.

And like its been for years our final ball in the final third is awful. We seem to need a moment of magic just to score a goal at times. When was the last time we scored a nice simple straight forward goal like Villa's last night?

Schneiderlin was far from the reason we lost unless people are expecting him to score our goals and play incisive balls in the final third for some reason.

Think the general pessimistic is grossly unfair myself mate, we’ve kept 10 clean sheets in 15, haven’t conceded a goal at home since Feb, inclusive of visits of Mordor, Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal. Our form been good since Jan onwards. I thought we bossed last night, we were just sucker punched.

I think you also have to look at the context, our signings were late, we’ve also signed raw potential, we’ve lost our-lower spine in Idrissa and Zouma, while the team needs to gel, the lateness of our signings hasn’t helped. I think we have to accept that at the mo and not judge us, as the finished article.

Silva improved and developed every player last year, I expect him to develop these signing and the team as well.

I think their is a plan their, we are after raw talent and Silva to develop it, does that lead to instant results probably not, we will have bad patches.

Frustrating, but if you employ a manager and a DOF, to that job of developing a long term project you have to back it.

I think we will be fine, I took some positives from last night particularly Iwobi.

As for Morgan, he’s low hanging fruit, but we need warm bodies at the mo and a relatively safe if unspectacular pair hands is useful at the moment.

The problem is he did OK at what he does which is sit as a anchor six protect modestly and give it to others, but he lacks what Gana has, the ability to get around the pitch and is too easily bypassed. We are desperate for more energy and tempo in there especially if Gomes is underperforming and Sig is anonymous. He contributed to our turgid tempo and sideways passing last night. Its not just on him but the make up of the midfield was wrong those three especially with Gomes looking off it were playing in slow motion. We play like that against a top team and we get torn apart. I think we need to look at a change of shape and personnel.

He was dropped for a reason because he rubbish, and now he is back in the first team. Him,gomes and sig are all too slow to play together.

I'm just sad we are in this position we have to rely on him.

Actually NO; just expect him not to hide, protect the back four and play a forward pass in ten.Not a lot to expect from a £150K a week player.
