He has an oppurtunity now, hes always been a good player with a bad attitude in my opinion, i hope he can kick start his Everton career and prove us all wrong.
We don't need him against lesser teams do we? Davies or Delph with Gomes is our best bet with Gbamin out. Morgan should only come in for games where we will constantly be under pressure for me. Gomes and him together lacks legs.

I was all for starting him, but after he basically hid behind the defenders it reminded me of his petulant spree under Koemadyce. We don’t need to put ourselves through that again
Even after the him and Mirallas thing, I was willing to give him a chance again after we lost Gueye, he messed up and go t sent off and it’s rapidly looking like he’s back to the going through the motions sort of play. Delph,Gomes and Davies should all be ahead of him, if he’s needed then so be it. But playing him with anyone else but Davies just won’t work they get in each other’s way. I want to see Davies starting much more.

For me, every player is allowed one idiot spree. You don’t really know what someone is going through in life, so I understand that sometimes young men will be dumb young men. And yeah, some managers are real bridezillas. But at some point you have to say bye Felicia

I actually think its weaker teams that are our problem, we struggle to break down teams that that play a blanket defense against us, then we are vulnerable to the sucker punch like on Friday.

Yes, we do. When you can't keep the ball you do.
Gomes and anyone together is bad from a defensive standpoint. This is the problem.

How many teams across the league would this conman actually get into ? It can't be many.
He may suit a different team very well depending on the formation and the players around him. It might even be that if he were to play with Delph he might do a decent job.
However, the pairing of Gomes and Schneiderlin was awful. Not secure defensively but nothing offensively, a complete lack of pace and drive.
Tom Davies should consider himself hard done by not to have started or at least been brought into that team as sub last Friday.

It's really difficult to see whose team he would actually be good enough for to be honest, maybe a few of bottom 6. The thing is though he didn't work at all well next to one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, so there's a slight common denominator here for me.

Davies isn't the answer for me either. He's average at best in all departments, he's also not a natural athlete in my opinion so doesn't have pace and strength to fall back on.

I doubt very much that Schneiderlin would suit any team the way he performs for Everton. He does as little as possible, doesn’t make many mistakes because he gives the ball away to the nearest Everton player to him, almost as soon as he gets, passing sideways and backwards much more than he passes it forward. Great pass, by the way to Colman that almost produced a goal versus Villa, but these are rare.

Schneiderlin, to me is a fraud of a player, getting massive wages while not giving any responsibility to the club or his team mates when he is on the field, the quicker he is gone the better, but doubt he will move until his very generous contract is finished.

We seem to have it most of the time against most team's, but I take your point you do need to protect your back four. It's just Morgan is so ponderous physically and on the ball and Gomes isn't very swift either. It's not a good mix, Delph and Gomes is probably the best at the moment. Or even a three.

We should have replaced him in the summer

That's kind of part of my point Morgan isn't useful in those games beyond being a shield. His passing isn't good enough and he lacks mobility alongside Gomes and Sig who is playing too high and off form that's a very static midfield. Even if they aren't ideal Davies or Delph at least bring a bit of energy and drive.

He's clearly play acting again so he gets his 3 month holiday starting next week. Unfortunately though we are stuck with him and he's stuck with us due to injuries. He's quite predictable now to be honest.
