I always thought if he was going to make it here, he'd need to be content as a sub for Iceland as that was the only position he seemed to play well. Clearly wanted to move his career on a bit quicker than that and, as he's already played in the CL, he's probably right.

I get what you’re saying but for example I’m sure Man City regret selling Jadon Sancho despite him contributing nothing to them. Not saying Vlasic is at the same level as Sancho obviously, but he is a young lad with a lot of potential whose value is likely to increase.
