1995-2020 = the longest barren spell without silverware in Everton's history

Bought by a man with endless cash when FFP didn't matter. Regardless of if usmanov is involved or not, we cant do what they did. We just don't win enough big games to do it. Closest we've got was in 09 when we go up after 30 seconds and then bottle it.

The word bottle it gets thrown around so easily these days. We lost to that team...

If I were involved in the Everton board during this time I'd feel a sense of shame. The problem is that those who have guided us over the last 20 odd years don't feel any embarrassment, if anything you get the feeling they think we should be grateful for their stewardship.
The biggest mistake in short of I agree with all that, but if BK had secured the Kings Dock maybe the Man City owners would have have maybe invested in us as it has proved to be a goldmine of a strategic position in the city of Liverpool, and he gave it all up for not being able to raise 40 million + sob
It has proved you have to have mega bucks , and a modern or updated stadia to attract investment.......in Billions.....

Being in Madrid this weekend did get me thinking though. If by some miracle we did get to one of these games what an experience it'd be.

Fan Park in the sun before hand with sirens and z-cars going off, cervezas everywhere. A lad can dream hey...

One thing for sure is we'd make a better go of it than Spurs. Shoes off if you hate Arsenal has to be the worst song around.

Mate the kings Dock was another red herring thrown in by kenwright.

What was you doing there? Badly timed holiday?

All I have is my arl fellas tales of Rotterdam and it sounded absolute wonderful. Maybe one day lads maybe.

Probably been said but I hate our attitude to the league cup. First team played in every round next season. Go all out for it, even rest players in the league beforehand.

A competition that Pep and Jose take seriously, but Everton don't.
