If he goes then so be it.

Lets make some money on him.

It is Heitinga who will miss out, like many a player he will realise in the years to come how good he had it at Everton.

We are Everton, we are bigger than any one player, even one of our best players (which he is on his day).

If we can make on him and he doesnt want to be here, then let him go. Are his wages one of the highest at the club?

Nailed.

That goes for him and pienaar as far as im concerned

slighlty disagree.

Pienaar is seeing out his contract, you cant force him to sign a new one. If he wants to leave in the summer then so be it, thanks very much for your efforts, blah blah.
He is the one who will look back and realise how good it was at Everton, that Moyes turned him into an effective player despite spending years as a journeyman who couldnt get established before he signed for us.
He has fulfilled his contract, you cant ask anymore.

Pienaar will leave with my respect, if Heitinga wants to be Jonny big bollocks and believe his own hype to go and sit on the bench at Munich then so be it.
But we sell him on our terms, at a profit and use all of it to invest in squad, if the money goes to pay of kenwrongs loans then dont sell him or anyone.

The bottom line is he just see's us as a stepping stone to a 'bigger' club in his words, he had a good half season last year and read to many reports about how brilliant he was and thought job done lets see which 'big' club will come in for me next. I fully believe he did not expect to be back at Everton after the world cup, yet here he is and he's spat his dummy cos Distins took his spot at CB and hes playing with his bottom lip out while still trying to verbally tout himself another move. As decent player as he is ( and he is no more than that) unless he has a change his attitude sharpish then he can [Poor language removed] off for me, dont want his like stirring [Poor language removed] around our club.

Have had enough now, at least Radzinski had the character to stick the knife in and sday he wanted out instead of sharking about putting in half-assed displays and simply not giving a toss.

Heitinga, go now, your Holland international chums at City can have you - for free. Just go.
Crap footballers have been tolerated, ass-holes have been tolerated, but tvvats that dont put the effort in have been fkkked off.
GO ! GO ! GO ! GO ! GO ! GO !

Have I missed something that happened with him today?

Not just today, on 70 minutes he was asking to come off vs spurs. Yobo played the full 90 minutes, physically, mentally he was absent for a minute or three, but Heitinga just isn't arsed. TIME TO GET RID.

someone kick him in the nuts.

Saddens me to see nobody has posted here for two months, thought this thread deserved a kick. I'd just like to say he did a decent job at sunderland. And still, even though his loyalty might not be bound to the club with a chain, the man's image and style still is all Everton. Sticking to the appreciation as long as he stays with us (and plays a little better than at Arsenal).

Johnny Heitinga

Would like to get your guys views . . .would you play Heitinga at center back...He played there in the World Cup and they were pretty solid...Who would you take out...

I would drop Jags..He's not been great this season and just hoofs the ball up front..I think Heitinga has better distribution and a better passer of the ball...I think maybe the reason Heitinga has been crap is that he's playing in a position that doesn't suit him...

Never saw that one coming...he hoofs it when we're short of time and need a goal
