After the Chelsea game in the cup he called Martinez “what a manager “ the week before we had lost our 9th home game of the season

And Moshiri has kept him on as chairman.

And people wonder why the current buffoon is making daft comments and managerial appointments.

Thick as two short planks the pair of them.

A multiple banned mutant on a football forum is calling a self made multi-billionaire as thick as two short planks.

Only on the internet could you type that and keep a straight face.

Multi banned? Ha okay mate want my dental records?

You do realise Intelligence in itself isn't a solid thing. Like sure on finances Moshiri is clearly a very clever man.

But is he any smarter than a plumber if he was tasked with fitting a pipe? Or a landscaper if tasked with paving a drive?

Unfortunately for us the blokes clueless when it comes to on the pitch football deicison making and hes picked the worst person possible to seek advice from.

If I was putting £250 million big ones into something I appoint a bloody good person to spend and manage it, not drag the companies name through the mud chasing some slick looking novice who's not got the CV to back up the owners hard on like a teenage boy for him.

Dont need your dental records, I can see your IP, you dense fool.

There's been a lot of false optimism in recent years, based on zero logic. We've lost to Arsenal, Man United, Liverpool and Man City away from home and got thrashed by Spurs yesterday. I certainly not defending Allardyce, but a year ago we'd just got a draw against Chelsea at home, drew at Anfield, won at Newcastle and won 3 home games in a month. I really don't think we've made the progress some people think we have. Under Koemann, we put in horrific performances at Burnley, Swansea, Southampton,Watford, Arsenal and Chelsea. We also lost 2 derbies. If you look at DM's last season, we drew at Man City, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal. We beat Man United, Man City and Spurs at home, we drew against Liverpool and Arsenal at home. We only lost one home game against Chelsea and we were very unlucky then.
I was one of Moyes biggest critics, but at least our players had heart and we had likable players such as Cahill, Arteta, Pienaar, Jags, Baines and a few others who put in 100% for the club. Nowadays I see players laughing and joking after we lose games, players not bothering to clap the supporters and other types of disrespect towards supporters. I would follow Everton everywhere and anywhere 10 years ago, because I knew the players who put in similar effort to the supporters. I remember the fighting victories against teams like Chelsea, Man City and Man United, where opposition players would leave knowing they'd had to work for a result. John Terry said that Everton were one of the hardest teams to play against, because our players got stuck in and tried hard.

Nice post but Moyes was shocking against the big boys. Only city did he ever do anything against.

Baring odd result we were crap.

Only way things will change is a West Ham style revolt against the owners.

Since then they spent a fortune and appointed a manager above their usual duds like Hughes and Pardew.

Sadly our fans wont do anything.

Sick of the same crap managerial appointments by those clowns Mosh and Bill.
Don't want be anything like those clowns. Funny how the silva out crowd refuses to put any blame on the players for their embarrassing display. Pickford and Zouma cost us that loss with horrendous individual errors. Silva set us up brilliant and we looked to go up 2-0 (and if we had VAR we would have). Pickford's mistake sent the team into a shambles and from there we had to open ourselves up to try and score. Our players aren't good enough.

Pickford and Zouma were poor but even at 0-0 / 1-0 they could have scored a hatfull.

Managers like Silva never succeed in this league because they are not balanced. Its either too defensive (alladyce) or too attacking (Martinez, Silva).

The difference between Martinez and Silva is that Martinez had a beast centre forward in Lukaku.

Silva doesnt hence why our attacking play isnt compensating somewhat for our shaky defence.

You dont think Liverpool players were on the floor after losing a Champions Leagie final mate?

You dont see them wallowing in self pity they are currently 4 points clear at the top of the table.

Thats because they have a good manager and we dont.
It took Klopp 3-4 seasons to get Liverpool to the position they're in now. He didn't do it overnight.
Anyone feeling the title of this thread strikes a chord with them should watch Sunderland Til I Die. A sort of glimpse into a parallel universe where we kept Steve Walsh in a job.
I don't need to, my second team (long story) are Sheffield Wednesday, who've been through absolute hell. Nearly went into administration in 2010, were under a transfer embargo and have only just sacked a clueless manager who benched the team's best keeper in favour of Cam Dawson.

If Everton are badly run, what does that make teams in the lower leagues? What about Blackburn? Forest? Leeds? Blackpool? This whole thread is just kneejerking because we shipped 6 goals.

And also, at the risk of sounding like a huge biznatch, I'm not going to protest about a football team doing badly when there are real disasters in the world right now.

Lots of footballers do this. We're hardly the only ones. As for clapping the supporters, if they did they'd get told to smeg off. In less polite terms.

You'd have loved Kevin Pressman, he apparently didn't want to leave the house or be seen enjoying himself when Wednesday were doing badly.

ETA: Jags and Baines are still here but everyone moans about how shabite they are and how they're not passionate enough and how Jags should be kicking Henderson in the face or whatever.
