This club is a joke

I’ve had the “anyone who doesn’t back him isn’t a blue” shouts thrown at me over the years. Just made anger turn into bewilderment.
The man is an absolute fraud, has been at the helm throughout the transaction of Everton being one of the top 5 powers (3rd at worst) , to what we are today, a million miles behind the top 6,still playing in a decreped old stadium, which baring the odd lick of paint hasn’t had a penny spent on it!,a net spend of £1 million a season under the moyes years ( probable less than Grimsby), whilst offloading any talent he could for a profit(Rooney etc) only for the money to vanish, probably the worst commercial dept at any club in Europe etc etc etc, whilst this man is within 100 miles of this Once great club, nothing will ever change !

Lost: Everton's Identity

If you find it, please return it to Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta

Because we never played gash or got smashed back then - you weren't watching lad. Love Tim and Mik but let's not rose tint things. We occasionally played [Poor language removed].

It's a thread where I'm team @davek - very often disagree but he's nailing it here...apart from Pickford. Mistakes yeah, but he's potentially something special. Needs criticising but doesn't need binning. The lad's gonna be something else.

Not a penny spent? Point towards your evidence there. You can't. It costs a fortune to keep Goodison up to basic scratch. You can't even spell decrepit let alone have a basic knowledge of keeping an old stadium up to modern legal standards.

Could Bill have been a better chairman. Of course, but he's a blue who tried his (maybe misguided) best. As far as the lottery of owners goes we've done better than most.

Sound mate, I presume other clubs have to pay for the upkeep of there grounds too don’t they?? As long as your happy and content with things , that’s lovely, and is why this club has been allowed to be driven into the ground, with the blessing of fans such as yourself, because “ he’s a blue”! With regards to your comments on my spelling, I will also consult the dictionary before posting in future .

Don't think it's faie to criticise Bill. He never had the money and most of his tenure was before the huge Sky money anyway The irony is on the whole we did better during those lean times, go figure. Now he sure wasn't perfect, lacking the dynamic required to really push a club forward. We all know one of the main reasons he held on so long was to increase his return on the club. Who could've blamed him. Football at the top can be a great way to make silly money if you are advised well. No I don't blame him. It's bloody hard when you have a sky backed cartel as the top tier of champions league clubs. If you need a scapegoat begin looking at Mr Murdoch and follow the money from there....
