Wouldn't disagree with you mate but I just think Bernard might not be physical enough and Walcott's been our worst player for months now
Bernard has a bit of snide about him and has a good workrate plus has a defensive capability
Walcott while not ideal defensively or tracking back offers more in those those areas than Lookman does at this time
The RS full backs will bomb on it regardless of who they are playing against
It’s what Klopp has brainwashed them to do

Bernard and Lookman are like a more consistent Aaron Lennon. Need players like this for a derby if you ask me.

I really don't know where all this optimism is coming from, we haven't won there for nearly 20 years, yes that's 20 years. They haven't been beaten there for 28 league matches and hasn't history taught any of us anything, that if they don't beat us by fair means it will be by refereeing decisions. I can never be optimistic when we play them because I've had too many disappointments over too many years than I care to remember. However having said all that I never stop hoping we can do the horrible t£&@-. Hope is a good thing.

It happens all the time mate when we're playing well, we say "we'll never have a better chance of beating them...…………"

I simply just can't be arsed worrying if we will/won't win and whether we will/won't turn up. I've wanted wins so bad that it's absolutely screwed up my days/week which is why I've come to the simple conclusion and just assume we are going to stuff them 3-0

I feel better the more I say it as well :)

We will 100% have better chances of beating them.

13 games into a complete rebuild and mindset change.

If we continue to attract the level of player recruited this summer we will match them.

Never easy to win at their pit, but with increasing quality and belief in our players, we will turn them over soon.

I don't want just one flash in the pan win.
We need to build towards winning regularly again.

In theory we have to beat them at Anfield some time, however I'm still not hopeful for Sunday. I remember us having a terrible record against Chelsea, then we beat them in 2010 and kept on beating them. We also had a great record against City, especially at Goodison. If it was at GP i'd be very confident with our fans behind us, but at their place they are very hard to beat, I think the last time they lost was Palace in 2017. I think if we just treat it like another game, then we'll have our best chance, but if we play it up then I think we'll lose. We've been thinking that this run would end for years, it hasn't so I'm confident now either.
