Pushing the sky 6 all the way this year, that makes us the premiere leagues public enemy number 1. I can see us playing well but this has arsenal written all over it.a massive ref blunder will cost us and they will run out comfortable winners. The more comfortable the less chance the mistake will be highlighted by the media pigs that have their snouts in the trough.

Be interesting to see if/how Silva has approached our mental weakness coming into this fixture.

Be a good sign of whether we have the right man or not - fair few have tried and failed lately.
I'm cautiously optimistic that we have exactly the right men (Brands & Silva) at this moment in time. That's regardless of how we do this weekend.
Liverpool are a very good side, in very good form. This game won't decide our season. Would be lovely to give them an absolute hiding and a lesson in sexy football though.

Well yes, they’re very good, and if we lose we lose. But it’s the manner of a defeat that I’d be analysing. If we’re outplayed then fair enough but if we wilt and crumble then I’ll be pissed.

Did they play in any of the ten draws there since we last won?
Yeah but I remember the 80's. We were the better side for a while, but I always feared the worst with that lot. Ian Rush seemed to have the hoodoo over Big Nev.
Saying that, it was good going in to those games knowing man for man there wouldn't be many of theirs who would get into our side.

it's all about mentality on the day, Liverpool just smash teams apart most weeks because people are scared shiitless of their front 3 ( understandably to be fair ) but if we're brave play well and have some good fortune we can get something

just turning up for a change though and not bending over like we do every single year will be a start

the performances ( not so much results ) away at the 3 other big teams offer us some encouragement though, unlucky to not get points in them all

Exactly this. If we go there and give a good account of ourselves I will be ok. Also to mention we had a major refereeing decision go against us in all 3 games as well, somehow I don't think that trend will be changing here.
