you don't change a winning team, same team again

the richarlison up front works better away from home anyway so wouldn't bother changing that

say it every derby game but we surely are due a win at anfield aren't we? 20 years nearly that is pathetic, good as chance as ever with how we are playing, but lets be honest there have been a good few times over the last few years we have thought that and got bummed anyway

1 major positive which I haven't really seen mentioned is, don't they have a must win game away @ PSG this week?

As was said earlier he’s a new referee
He knows the eyes of a footballing nation will be on him on Sunday.
SSN and Gallagher will dissect his performance on Monday , so he will be on his best behaviour ( hopefully )
reffed us v southampton in the cup and the league game away to Burnley last season,as well as the home league game v Leicester and home v huddersfield last season,as well as others

Not really a must win as they get Napoli at home to close out the group, but a loss and they’re in hot water for sure.

If watching the world cup has taught me anything, being optimistic may somehow get us the result we need. During England's penalty shootout, merely shouting "you will score this penalty' or "pickford be a hero" felt refreshing. I've taken this approach with all live games I've watched now and it worked most of the time.

Maybe, convincing ourselves that "Everton that" can be a thing of the past might actually make it a thing of the past.

Do 'em blues!

The good chances were when they were awful under Dalglish and Rodgers. On Sunday we are playing a team that hasn't lost at home in the league for over a year.

As you say though, at least we are playing well and have a good team. I just think it's still a huge ask for our lads.

"This thing all things devours,
Lovren, beasts, Mané, flowers.
Gnaws Milner bites steel,
Grinds Castle Grayskull to meal,
Slays kops, ruins town,
And beats fc bigstand down"

TIME!
It's time.
Time's up.
This time.
About time.

And no evidence that he’s not a big game player when fully up to speed
Let’s just wait and see before we write him off
The same way people wrote off Siggy and Keane
Im not writing him off, he might be and i hope he is.

But its abit early to say hes a big game player based on nothing.

.... probably score the winner sunday now.

So change a team that has only lost once in the last 7 , and that was away at Manure , and change it for the biggest game of the season so far
Not sure Marco will agree
I expect to see the same team as last Saturday and barring injuries and depending on the way the game is going much the same substitutions
Wouldn't disagree with you mate but I just think Bernard might not be physical enough and Walcott's been our worst player for months now
