Gotta be this for me. Richarlison and Lookman will give these nightmares, I think Bernard should be on the bench for this one, it’ll be too rough for him.

I feel absolutely sick to the stomach with nerves.
Not felt this way coming into a derby in years.

There’s been no pressure on us in these games in a while, as we’ve been so poor the best we were hoping for is not to concede a rugby score.

Now the pressure is on us.
There’s non on them. Everyone knows how good they are up front and what their current form is like.

We’re the team supposedly improved with aspirations of taking the next step and we stand to look rather foolish if they turn us over.

But we have players who have played in big games and shouldn’t bottle it here.

My nerves are shot and despite what that lot say, so are theirs!

Come on you blues!!!!!!!

All the pressure in the world is on them.

They are trying to keep pace with City, 4 years into Klopp's tenure.

We have only just started to put the foundations in place under Silva and Brands era. The fact we are in the top 6 is a bonus. Long term our aim should be to challenge City, but for now it is about playing with belief, style and entertaining the fans.

We are a dangerous opponent.
Nothing would make me happier than to inflict a defeat on them at the pit.

But if we don't, then as long as we give a solid account of ourselves, then so be it.

We are making progress.

Bernard is a big game player. Lookman is fine off the bench for this one. Need to take care of the ball. Wouldn't mind VVD breaking his leg tomorrow...

I would like to see Lookman for Walcott, Richo in his preferred position for Bernard and just say to either Tosun or DCL to occupy their centre halves. Just keep them busy, run in between them not giving them a minutes peace.

So change a team that has only lost once in the last 7 , and that was away at Manure , and change it for the biggest game of the season so far
Not sure Marco will agree
I expect to see the same team as last Saturday and barring injuries and depending on the way the game is going much the same substitutions

Should be same team as well, especially for this game, they'll be chopping g and changing from the weekend to midweek to this game, means if we start fast pressing heavily like we have the three trips to the other top six then we'll have a great chance of having them in real bother way on.

Christ Fulham should have been 2 up again at them and Watford but for del not holding his run would have been 1-0 inside two minutes.

Obviously massive pressure on them, but I would also say there is pressure on us as well, we’ve spent an absolute wagon load of cash over the last few windows so we have to put in a performance that says we’re not a million miles behind them.

Dunno mate about that.

Our managers been in the job four months, theirs for four years, they've spent massively more than us, for me the click reset on spending for us and what that should be expected to achieve on the appointment of the new dof and manager.

Not gonna hold those two accountable and stick pressure on when half or more of our spending the last four years was on utter utter dross they had no say in.

Agree mate that they are under massive pressure and they can’t afford to lose, and I know Silva is only just laying the foundations, but I still think there is some pressure on us to go out and put in a performance. We put in a poor performance, and they win easily (I don’t think that will happen like) then that will be deflating, and more than just the norm of the usual deflation of not getting anything from a Derby.

Yep, that’s the starting line up for me.

Think Lookman can really trouble Trent Arnold & Walcott will keep Robertson pressed back where he can’t hurt us.
