Computer games.

Fair enough mate but... worse than Colonial Marines though?

That Colonial Marines was absolutely awful. lol

Alien Isolation is definitely a miles better made game than that as regards, story, graphics, optimizing etc, just sadly not my style of gameplay at all which was a game breaker for me. Like to be able to explore or fight with a chance of winning. Couldn't be doing with the non stop having to find a cupboard or the like to hide in every 10 seconds or face certain death. Not my cup of tea but i can defo understand why many people love it because the rest of the game is top notch.

Yeah I get what you're saying, and agree - I just think Isolation is a brilliant "Alien" game, which means a contained atmosphere with stealth horror, like the movie.

If you consider that as the aim, it's a fantastic game as it hits every note. However, if you'd prefer an "Aliens" game, more action adventure and gung ho, then yeah it's not going to be for you.

That's the beautiful thing about the franchise - it can be adapted many ways.

Fallout 76 appears to have fallen victim of the now common internet practice of burying a new game before it's even properly left the shelves..

The 'dedicated' group of 'super fans' decided that they really didn't like the idea of it, vilifying it and BGS so belligerently that it was picked up by news outlets and now has been, unfairly, labelled en mass as a 'bad' game.. despite many many people seemingly not having even played a single minute of it!

You can argue that the industry has been heading slowly towards self-destructive territory for a few years now... but the 'gamers' themselves certainly haven't helped.

Geeks gonna be geeks

I can't stand Bethedsa though so not really arsed either way, they need to stop making and releasing games on their god awful dated as feck engine... then I might start caring about their products again. They are too lazy to do that though.

I got a very cheap set of headphones in GAME for 20.seem to be quite decent to me.
Your update shouldnt take long mate.
Will check out Game's website now thanks mate. Hopefully there will be some deals soon as well
I got a new one recently mate. Start up and all that didn’t take too long if I remember.
Cheers man. I've been dreading thinking I'm going to be staring at a blue screen all day haha
One thing to keep in mind is that some games (Spider-Man and RDR2 recently in particular) take quite a while to copy onto the system. Think Spider-Man took an hour and then RDR2 took 90 minutes I think. Then if you are buying games that rely on online play you will have to wait for the latest updates to download before you can play. If you have good internet this won't be too much of an issue, just mentioning it as mine is rubbish!

Basically just get it set up as early as possible as there will inevitably be a few things that need to be seen to before getting a game going.
I have terrible internet haha. I'll buy an ethernet to be prepared.
As long as I can play something it should be ok ha

Definitely true about some of the installs and updates though mate.

Red Dead was unbelievably long.

Nearly finished Red Dead so I'm jumping straight on to God of War next. Anybody played it?
I have. Found it very slow to start with and it took me a while to get into it as you have very limited skills at the beginning so combat gets repetitive. Once it gets going though I thought it was great. Learning how to use all your abilities etc to win massive battles is very rewarding.

It also has a very intuitive control system once you get used to it which is not something I could say for Red Dead. God knows how many hours I’ve put into it now and I still mess simple things up.

Also, if you haven’t already, play Spider-Man. It’s really, really good

Nice one mate. I'll be quite happy to play a game with tight controls after red dead. It's clunky as hell!
