Computer games.

FFS, it does look mint. I never had the original.

Some new clobber coming out tonight I want to get as well.

And I need to book flights to New Zealand.

And then factor in for Arctic Monkey's tickets while I'm there.

To top it all off, November's a five-week month in terms of pay day. Right laugh.

The clothes will sell out, flights could change and tickets could go. So, looks like I might have to give this a miss until December. Considering I've had FIFA four weeks and hardly had chance to play on it, it's probably for the best.

I’ve resisted getting a current gen console for too long now. RDR2 can’t be missed.

Question, is buying a used PS4 off Guntree etc. a bad idea? Are they prone to breaking? Got a few big outgoings at the moment so don’t want to spend £250 on a new one ideally. Can probably save about £100 getting second hand.

You need to get a PS4 mate.

You woudn’t want to risk it. You could save money and end up with a paperweight.

Mine broke after like 5 years mate so had to get a new one recently.

I would honestly not risk a second hand one.

I bought mine in 2013. Still works okay - I do not use it very intensively though (prefer pc). I do remember having to return the controllers after a month or two because of squeaky triggers (free of charge). You'd probably be okay if you buy one from a reputable source, and one of the more recent models. Second hand is always a bit of a gamble though.

Aye you’re right. I would be saving £100 tops after the game and the controller will probably be awful too. I’ll just get a new one and stay in for a couple of weeks. As if I’ll be going out with Red Dead 2 anyway.

I'm gonna have to go into my overdraft tomorrow and get a PS4 aren't I.
If you're getting a new console specifically for RDR2 I'd have a look at the One X. Digital Foundry did their platform review for the game today and the difference in visuals between the consoles is surprisingly very noticeable. The version on the One X is head and shoulders above the PS4 Pro by all accounts.

I’ve got an Xbox One which runs perfect but last year literally all of my mates jumped ship to PlayStation. I only really play FIFA normally so I never followed.
