Computer games.

Only done a couple of hours myself mate but it’s oretty incredible.

I’m on PS4 Pro and it runs fine. I mean it may well look better on xbone or PC but really, how much better?! It looks great.

I do have a few downers on it so far, like he moves like a heavyweight wrestler and for some reason I don’t quite like his voice as much as John Marston in the old game but they are both things I’m sure I’ll get used to.

I’ve barely scratched the surface though.

He does seem to move like a tank. I haven't played it but curious and suspicious about the review scores of it, because it doesn't seem to tally with the gameplay I've seen (it seems like "it's a Rockstar game, give it a 10 and move on" situation to me from the big review sites) - but who knows, I haven't played it like I say.

It always had a massive job on its' hands of even getting close to how good the original was, so if criticism of it is just "it isn't as good as the first one" then that won't mean much because it could still very well be a tremendous game regardless.

Red Dead Redemption is probably my favourite game of all time (Maybe tied with FF7 and Iss Pro Evo 2)

This is as good, if not better than it

The PS Classic line-up released, just a quick take on it. Some very good, some mediocre choices - overall worth the investment, especially if the thing gets hacked like the NES/SNES Classic and allows you to throw your own ROMs on it.

  • Battle Arena Toshinden
  • Cool Boarders 2
  • Destruction Derby
  • Final Fantasy VII
  • Grand Theft Auto
  • Intelligent Qube
  • Jumping Flash!
  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Mr. Driller
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
  • Rayman
  • Resident Evil Director’s Cut
  • Revelations: Persona
  • Ridge Racer Type 4
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
  • Syphon Filter
  • Tekken 3
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
  • Twisted Metal
  • Wild Arms

The ones on that list that may not be instantly recognisable or on the face of it surprising are Wild Arms, Intelligent Qube and Cool Boarders 2, but they're actually legitimately tremendous games - Wild Arms and Intelligent Qube are two of my favourites on the whole system in fact.

The oddest two choices are Mr. Driller and Jumping Flash! - the first is one I played a ROM of a few years back and got bored of quickly (basically an old school Nintendo NES era puzzler) and as for Jumping Flash!... "archaic" doesn't even begin to describe it. It was the very first 3D platformer and even at the time it was clunky. Was one of the first titles I owned on the PS1 back in the day and it's thoroughly unremarkable.

The original GTA isn't anything to write home about either. It was a breath of fresh air at the time but was largely a tech demo for the much superior sequel.

So yeah, two or three outright duds, five or so average inclusions but overall I'll be a proud owner of it (but then again I would have been anyway as I've fallen for this 'mini' trend of classic consoles hook, line and sinker.)

From the little i've played I can already say it's better than the first one.

I think the movement of the bloke is just me getting used to him to be honest.

If she doesn't get me one of these for Christmas then i'll be searching for divorce lawyers.

Is it a new engine they are using of the next gen version of GTA5?

I'm going to start the first rdr this weekend and try and blast through it. Will probably finish it by the time gta6 comes out.

Syphon Filter was amazing, your character, Gabe, ran like a scaly and you could taser people till they burst into flames and screamed. I would buy it for this and Resident Evil, the others were good at the time, but I tend to find these games age poorly

Got that on the PC when it first came out. Was a masterful piece of work. Spending hours planning an op and then have it all go off in just a few minutes when planned well was SO SO satisfying!

I have 2 redeem codes for the Fallout 76 BETA on XBox One if anyone wants one?

There’s only 2 play sessions left. Tonight 9pm-midnight and tomorrow 6pm-1am if you can be arsed downloading a 50gb file for 9 hours worth of gameplay

Anyone missing rollcage on ps ???...check out Grip. I have had it for a while, just waiting for the final release on tuesday, its coming out for all major platforms. Its ace !! Especially if you loved rollcage, its basically similar to wipeout but based on those remote controlled cars that can race on either top or bottom.
